Without saying so directly, the article suggests that someday the news will be that someone was swallowed.

I'm disappointed, I sped-read this to answer the headline question, how does one climb without a ladder? It doesn't say, except that, when all else fails, its possible for a strong person to use friction to wedge themselves in a 90° corner, but I can hardly believe it. And it doesn't explain, what happens if it starts to rain?
